Wrestling with God

We have become lost from our souls. We have misplaced where we set them down, where we left them and we have forgotten of the sacred commitment we’ve made to our lives.

Last night I was talking with a very close person to me, and we were talking about souls and how our spiritual journeys can just be cruel but yet beautiful at the same time.

We got to talking about how souls become lost, and how good people can make bad choices and fall into bad periods of their lives, where they have a choice, either then go through it and come out the other side, or they sit in this dark night of the soul and never heal or move forward.

Our dark nights of the soul are moments where we shed energies and situations that no longer serve us and begin to fill our hearts with love from the Divine. After we go through our dark nights of the soul, we are connected, we are loved, and we are guided by the Divine. It’s part of our awakening, but often times is the massive life shift that LEADS to an awakening. (I’m working on an article right now about the Dark Night of the Soul- so stay tuned)

We have become consumed by what we are told we need, what we think is necessary in our day to day lives. We have forgotten what makes our souls happy- or we have never pushed ourselves into the depths of our souls to find what truly sparks us. Regardless if you loved and lost, or never loved at all, it’s time that we break that cycle.

Break the cycle of scarcity passed down from our ancestors, break the cycles and patterns you create in your life. As we journey through life, most of us get distracted by the illusion of life. We get distracted by what our ego tells us we want, we get distracted by our insecurities, our trauma, our addictions and vices. We become led by the superficial, by the followers, the likes, comments, shares, reactions and the bs.

We are in the deep water now, and if you aren’t, ask yourself “Why?”

Why is everyone else diving deeper into their faith, into their souls and their individuality, yet you’re in the shallows still, lurking? This lesson maybe painful to learn, but until you chose to see past the illusion, nothing will change.

We are surrounded by God’s creation. Everything around us is gorgeous, including each and every one of us.

I am inspired by the beautiful creation God blessed me with. I am motivated by my horses, my husband and my home. I capture those energies, photographing them for me to come back to years later and remember how fulfilling this day was.

We have been given this amazing time to process all this stuff we have been burying. We are given the blessing of discovering WHAT drives us, what inspires us? What motivates us and fuels our souls!? And if we don’t know what that is, then maybe we need to chat.
