What a humbling experience.

Being up on the ridge looking over this amazing land, all I could think about was how stunning the scene was.

As I stood there taking the scene in. I’m standing with a colt out of the first mare I ever trained, my husband and my mare. I’m standing there, and all I can see, isn’t just the beauty of the land, but the vastness of it.

I was humbled by how small I am in the vastness of the universe.

We are all small. But how many of us beat our chest and scream “but I’m right!!”

How small we are, but yet how large our ego becomes. How arrogant, egotistical, greedy and ignorant we can become. All simply because we forget how to be humble.

How to be humble with the cars we drive, the houses we buy and the purchases we make. To stay humble with our talents and gifts- being sure to share them with others and not hoard them for ourselves.

Because when we are humble, we become full of love. We begin to be filled with abundance and security in our lives.

When we are humble, our ego is in-check. When we are humble, we experience peace. When we are humble, we experience power. “Know the power that is peace.”
