Essential Oils for Spiritual Healing

Using Essential Oils For Spiritual Healing

Essential oils are a great tool to use in our everyday lives. By learning more about each oil, we can learn how to best use them in our physical lives, but by truly connecting and becoming one with these oils, we can also find spiritual healing for our souls, which helps us find balance from within.

As a healer, I work full time to help those who come to me find peace and fulfillment in their lives, through working with the medicine wheel. By balancing the medicine wheel, we can balance our lives, and begin truly healing what we have gone through. By working as I do every day, I have to focus on myself often by working through my own issues and always striving for balance from within.

These are my favorite oils to use for spiritual healing. I use a blend of these oils almost daily in my sacred ceremonies, baths, and in healing oil blends. These help me to maintain spiritual peace from within, as well as assisting me in working through my own shadows, pains, and past.

Lavender

Lavender

Lavender oil is one of my favorite oils, and I use this oil frequently in my healing blends, sacred ceremonies, and cleansing baths. Lavender assists in balancing and healing the third eye and crown chakras, Lavender oil is a great stress and anxiety relief oil, and allows us to decompress from our current situations, and to gather clear perspectives on life. I love to work with this oil when I am struggling with making a decision as it helps me gather my thoughts and see clearly.

We can work with lavender by praying before using this oil, and asking spirit to take away our stress, anxiety, confusion, and ego's. Lavender works with our crown and third eye chakras, and works extremely well for these purposes.  The most important aspect to remember when working with oils is to remember to carry respect and appreciation for the spirit of the plants used to make these tools for our use. Lavender is often times disrespected, due to it's common uses and over use by commercial products.

Frankincense

Frankincense is a powerful spiritual tool. I use Frankincense in many rituals, especially ceremony's honoring and respecting the Creator.  Frankincense allows me to connect easier with the Creator, as well as to bless and cleanse spiritual tools (such as my rosary, drum and rattle), sacred healing space, my physical body, and even tools such as my cards! Frankincense is one of my favorite oils, and helps me maintain balance by both keeping me grounded, as well as keeping me connected to source.

I have a blend I have created that I use to cleanse my chakras that contains Frankincense. This blend is sacred to me, and assists me in healing myself, as well as those who come to me for healing ceremony.

This powerful oil can be added to a diffuser, included in an oil blend or roller bottle, as well as added to the bath. (My favorite way to work with Frankincense is in the bath.)

Jasmine

Jasmine

Jasmine is an essential oil I particularly enjoy using during my cleansing rituals, baths, and for boosting my connection with the divine. Jasmine is a finicky spirit, and demands respect of the divine feminine. When we disrespect the divine feminine within us, we are disrespecting ourselves and the love we carry for ourselves.  I see this most often with women who don't respect their bodies or self worth. Jasmine works with us to keep us humble, but to also find our pure beauty through our connection with the Divine.

Jasmine is very strong, and see's the truth, even if we aren't honest with ourselves. This tool allows me to see through my own troubles, and helps me to work through these issues to gain true clarity. In my experience with Jasmine, I will experience the spirit working with me for days after the ceremony by helping me see the errors in my ways, the shadows I have been denying, as well as seeing the pains and trauma's in the souls in my healing ceremonies. Jasmine is a powerful spirit to work with, and really pushes us to be better versions of ourselves in order to work with this spirit.

I included it here today, because many of us need the accountability of Jasmine in our lives to help us stay on the spiritual path.

Ylang Ylang

Ylang ylang works to help us relax from the stresses of the day, and assists in releasing past blockages, attachments, and shadows so we can better address them and deal with them. Ylang ylang assists us in healing our wounds, and preventing new wounds from occurring to our souls. By working with ylang ylang we are giving our souls a chance to rest, recover, and relax. It is during these period of relaxing, where we release attachments that we are clinging onto.

I use ylang ylang often in extractions, and cord cutting ceremonies. Ylang ylang is a great spirit to work with, especially once we spend time getting to know this spirit, and becoming one with all the tools that we use in our practice.
